Tandem:

A Tandem Skydive is one of two options we offer for you to experience your first jump. What does Tandem mean? In a Tandem Skydive, the adventurer is physically attached to an expertly trained, Certified Instructor by a special secure harness. This allows you the thrill of freefall with the comfort of an experienced instructor. You exit the aircraft from 10,500 feet above the ground, free fall for nearly one minute, and then descend under a parachute built for two. You descend for approximately 5 minutes allowing you to enjoy the view (you can ask your instructor to point out Beaver Stadium). Together you and your instructor will fly your canopy gently through the air, or if you are up to it, you can go for the wild ride, spinning and banking your canopy through the sky like a jet fighter. You decide. Mild or wild -- it's your choice. After the fun you and your instructor will fly in for a nice soft landing. The price for a tandem jump is $195

IAD (Instructor Aided Deployment)

Instructor Aided Deployment or IAD is a technique that is replacing static line at many drop zones. After a comprehensive ground school (about 5 hours) the student will don a sport parachute rig with a pilot chute. At about 4,000 feet the student will climb out of the plane as the instructor holds on to the pilot chute. When the student jumps, the parachute will automatically open after just a few seconds of free fall. The price for the first IAD jump is $195.

If you wish to make a skydive you must be at least 18 years old and weigh no more than 245 lbs.
